Lempi chair

A Splash of Gentle Color

The chair is named Lempi, a Finnish word that can mean 'gentle' or 'beloved', reflecting its soft and approachable design.

The Lempi chair is a slender and beautiful chair that is excellent for care homes as well as other public spaces. The chair's airy and streamlined design is based on our age-friendly and design for all philosophy. Our design for all thinking creates a new perspective on furnishing; it is suitable for everyone, and the product does not label its user.

The chair has long armrests, which make it easy to sit down in and stand up from the chair. The stable and durable metal frame is long-lasting and available in many different colors.

There is no need for a separate push handle on the chair; the rear curve of the chair's armrest acts as a push handle and can also hold a blanket, newspaper, or walking stick.

The seat has a curved front edge that doesn't press against the legs. The Lempi chair is available with a wooden or upholstered seat. There are plenty of options and colors for fabrics. All our recommended fabrics have an abrasion resistance of at least 100,000 Martindale, a fire rating of SL 1, and for water-washable fabrics, they are machine washable at 60 degrees.

The chair's standard seat heights are 470 and 520 mm.

The chair is also available with optional gliding wheels for the front legs.
