The chair is named Lempi, a Finnish word that can mean 'gentle' or 'beloved', reflecting its soft and approachable design.

The four-wheeled Lempi is a graceful and beautiful chair that brings gentle color and functional elegance to any space. It is designed specifically to simplify daily life in care homes: assisting the seated person to the table is effortless and requires no lifting, thanks to the large back wheels. Safe, easily lockable brakes guarantee stable use.

The chair's airy and streamlined design is pleasing to the eye, and the long armrests make sitting down and getting up easy and safe. The sturdy metal frame is long-lasting and available in many colorful shades.

A separate push handle is not needed; the rear curve of the armrest serves as both a handle and a convenient place for a blanket, newspaper, or walking stick.

The seat has a curved front edge that doesn't press against the legs. The Lempi chair is available with a wooden or upholstered seat. There are plenty of options and colors for fabrics. All our recommended fabrics have an abrasion resistance of at least 100,000 Martindale, a fire rating of SL 1, and for water-washable fabrics, they are machine washable at 60 degrees.

The chair's seat height is 470 mm.
