The YK92 is a comfortable and compact armchair whose clarity and simplicity make it a true chair for any environment. It’s perfect for any setting where you want to offer comfort and ergonomics to your guests or customers.

The YK92 chair has a sturdy metal frame and long, wood-covered armrests. The sitting position remains upright without compromising on comfort. Thanks to this posture-conscious design, it’s easy to sit down in and get up from the chair.

The painted metal frame is durable and easy to maintain. There are almost endless color variations available. The YK92 chair can be precisely customized with the client's desired colors, as there are also plenty of upholstery options.

Yrjö Kukkapuro's unique design heritage lives on in ergonomic furniture in public and private spaces throughout Finland.

The guiding principle of Alastek's production is age-friendly design that considers different user groups and is suitable for everyone.

In 2024, Alastek had the honor of launching the YK91 SR, which Yrjö Kukkapuro had originally designed for himself. The YK92 shares a strong family resemblance in its design language.

Powder-coated metal frame.

Back of the backrest and armrests are made of oak veneer.

The cushions are fire-retardant foam, with fixed upholstery.
For senior use, we recommend a vinyl or artificial leather fabric.
All our recommended fabrics have an abrasion resistance of at least 100,000 Martindale, a fire rating of SL 1, and for water-washable fabrics, they are machine washable at 60 degrees.
