Pähkinälehto Care Home

Furniture for a new care home

Pähkinälehto Care Home opened in Sipoo in early 2024. Within these walls, unhurried presence means personalized listening and the ability to be creative in changing situations. The most important thing is that every resident feels important and valued.

"Beautiful furnishing that also takes the resident's special needs into account is a big part of the home-like community we want to offer. Of course, the atmosphere is the most important thing. Not even the finest furniture could replace that," says Mirja Lindqvist, the Care Home Entrepreneur.

Functional, yet home-like care furniture is like the dot on the letter 'i'. Without the dot, the letter remains incomplete. Alastek supplied the dining areas with dining tables and chairs, and the lounges with armchairs, sofas, and coffee tables from the Mainio series. Lindqvist is extremely satisfied with the purchases.

  • A Care Home opened in Sipoo in 2024.

  • The family business Tuusulan ASR-Palvelu Oy also operates Hoivakoti Elisabet and Eemil in Tuusula.

  • Offers 40 residential places for round-the-clock assisted living.

  • Additionally, three places are reserved for supported or communal living in 40-square-meter two-room apartments.

  • Competent bilingual staff, nutritious meals, and diverse activities in beautifully decorated spaces provide a home-like environment and atmosphere for the residents.

  • Construction started on the plot in 2022. The final decision on furniture purchases was made in Autumn 2023, and furniture deliveries arrived at Pähkinälehto on schedule in January 2024, a few weeks before the care home opened.
